Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between A4 and Letter?

A4 (210 × 297mm) is used in most of the world, while Letter (215.9 × 279.4mm) is standard in the United States and Canada. A4 is slightly narrower and taller than Letter.

Does resizing change the content on each page?

Resizing scales each page's existing content to fit the new page size proportionally. It doesn't re-flow text like a word processor would — it treats each page as a fixed image-like layout.

Which size should I use for printing?

Use A4 if you're outside North America, or Letter if you're in the US or Canada, unless your printer or recipient specifies otherwise.
